Patio Filipino serves hearty and comforting Filipino food. We came here for a family birthday celebration and reserved part of the restaurant to enjoy a private party of 20. Our table was a little cramped since it was a long table and half of the guests were sitting against the wall. Getting in and out was quite challenging. I was happy to sit on the end. The ambiance was nice but dated. It felt like you were at your lola's living room from the 90's. However, the food did not disappoint! We selected a few orders of the Patio Sampler, Sinigang, Bulalo, Sotanghon Guisado, Crispy Pork Adobo, and Lechon Kawali. Everything was tasty and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the Crispy Pork Adobo. It inspired me to not make my adobo at home soupy. I now caramelize it to give it a more intense flavor. So good! The Pandan Jello Refresher was delightful. Definitely a palate cleanser and very refreshing. It lives up to its name. This type of home cooking is what I miss the most when I moved to the East Bay. You really can't find quality dine-in Filipino restaurants where I live. So yes, when I visit the peninsula I look forward to Filipino food. And Patio Filipino will always come to mind.

This restaurant gives me a taste of home away from home vibe from the flavor of the food, the ingredients they use on each plate and wells a the very personable staff, always kind and sweet like grandma making preparing food for you without the palo or kurot if you don't listen. Definitely worth coming back to. We ordered beef sinigang sooo delicious right amount of spice, veggies and the beef soooo soft, the laing was soo coconutie, I meant so rich in flavor, not to mention the crispy pata so crispy and so delicious with the right amount of salt and savory goodness.

The space was clean and well decorated. It smelled delicious too with the scent of sizzling sisig coming from the next table! The food was phenomenal! it tasted exactly right, and was beautifully plated. All the servers were friendly and helpful and made nice comments about my toddler. They even brought her a plate of orange slices when she wanted fruit. We had the Kare kare, lumpianitas, pancit bihon and caldereta. I can't wait to visit the Bay Area again just to have a meal here!

My parents go-to place for crispy pata! It's my go-to for bangus sisig! I wish the binagoongan rice had more bagoong and I wish they would use a thicker noodle for the palabok. The wait staff are friendly and polite. Outside the restaurant needs to be revamped but overall, this is a great place to eat Filipino comfort food!

Great Food and Service! Thanks J and team for a great evening enjoying Filipino cuisine with friends! .

This is my go to Pilipino resto. I went by myself yesterday, June 24, 2024. I ordered the combo pancit and vegetable lumpia then Buco Con Seta for dessert! I love their food, and service because they are not that busy yesterday when it is crazy busy, it is not good. To be on the safe side, you have to make a reservation.

Offering traditional dishes, this place gets busy. The food is served hot and fresh. The sampler plate offers a good variety of appetizers to get you started. The paella is a great dish to share with about 4. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Came here at about 7:30 on a Thursday and we were seated right away. Our server was super sweet and attentive. She took our order and I told her I had shrimp allergies. She was very careful on explaining dishes that has shrimp and even suggested that she will seperate the shrimp from the appetizer sampler which I very much appreciated. We were excited to have Filipino food after days of vacationing so we were looking forward to this. Our table ordered appetizer sampler, kare Kare, lumpia gulay, fresh lumpia, crispy binagoongan, bangus sisig and sauteed bittermelon. Everything came out about the same time which was perfect,BIG portions (definitely family style) and it was so good. My least favorite was probably fresh lumpia tho I felt the wraper maybe had an after taste. But we loved everything else. We will be coming back for sure.
